Fountain Water – People Dancing

                Sitting, watching,
                Water up, then down.
                Dancing, Waving,
                Gone, silent.
                Jets blown with the wind,
                Left to right.
                Changing into spray.
                I looked a different way.
                Cobden’s statue afar.
                Water people, small moving,
                Dancing, going down.
                Bending to dance.
                Water gushes, gets louder.
                Swelling, dancing in the wind.
                People of water stand in columns, tall.
                Water gushing.
                Higher they come, still higher.
                Look at us.
                We’re dancing, dancing.
                We are the water people
                In all our forms.
